A browser visit lets you check the destination without installing a package. Keep the browser current and verify the address before signing in. A home-screen shortcut may open a website; it should not be confused with an installed native app.

Keep your session manageable
On a shared phone, sign out when finished and avoid saving account details. Use your device’s normal screen lock. If a session expires or opens the wrong account, resolve it at the destination before repeating an action.
